Hello, I'm Tiffany. I'm not going to bore you with the details of my medical history, just a brief explenation. I've had 2 back surgeries. Fist was to repair a ruptured disk and the second was a fusion at the same level. During the first surgery, the doctor cut my dura sack (lining surrounding the spine) which brought on a spinal disease called Arachnoiditis which produces quite a bit of pain in my lower back, butt, and legs. Arachnoiditis is basically scar tissue in the spine which is "attatched to" and "squeezing" the nerves in my spine. I was diagnosed back in '97 and have been through a big variety of medicines. My chief complaint has been the side effects and how much the pills cost! Seeing my frustration, my mother suggested I try marijuana for the pain. I did and it's been a blessing for my husband and I. (He was effected by my moodiness and sadness; side effects from the pills.) I am more productive now then when I was taking pain pills. Every doctor that I go to knows that I use marijuana and have watched my progress. It is no longer an issue with them because there is a huge reduction in the amount of pills that I'm prescribed. It doesn't feel right that I am considered a criminal to most because of my choice of pain relief...even though it wasn't my first choice. Why don't you check out some of my links to learn more...
